The lost months

ok, so we haven't been so great about blogging since Christmas, and that's because we've been chasing around Lucas!! Talk about active. This little man keeps us on our toes if there is a step, table, chair, or even dog to climb on... he is there. if there is a cabinet, shelf, basket or hidden spot, he's crawling in it. As I type, he is crawling up to the kitchen table to sit on a chair at the table like a "big boy". Priceless. Here are some of his snow pictures. I will post more blogs shortly, as I am committed to doing it this week.

After a 3 day snow fest, we took Lucas out to enjoy the winter wonderland. He had a wonderful time sledding and tasting snow... No worries, he stayed away from the yellow stuff. :-)This stuff is fun...

Christmas!

I am grateful that Jimmy started to feel a little better Christmas afternoon, and that My mom, Fred, and Jeanne decided to venture up to see us. It made Christmas feel a little more like Christmas. We have had a tough couple weeks. First with Lucas getting sick, then Jimmy getting very sick, and me pulling out my back. Felt for a little bit like Christmas was going to come and go like any other day... but then the spirit of Christmas prevailed, and we had a wonderful day. Lucas had a blast playing with his new bike, and john deere shown in the previous post. He is riding around the house in style....

Thank goodness for grandma.... I threw my back out on Thursday, and Jimmy got the flu (which is putting it lightly). But Grandma Evron came up and took fabulous care of Lucas this weekend,

Home for the Holidays...

What's better than a snow covered house as you ready for the holidays? We are enjoying a weekend at home this weekend, spending time on the Christmas tree, Christmas cards, and readying for the holidays. Lucas has a cold so we are house bound, complete with chicken soup for all. Looking forward to a peaceful holiday season with the family.
